Half of Tickets for the Cheshire Crime Writers Festival Now Sold!

The word is officially out — readers and writers from across the country are flocking to the first ever Cheshire Crime Writers Festival, and tickets are selling fast!

With well over half of all passes already snapped up, only 77 tickets remain for this exciting new event, taking place 7–8 February 2026 at the Best Western Forest Hills Hotel in Frodsham.

The festival will bring together 38 crime authors — from international bestsellers to emerging new voices — for a weekend packed with panel discussions, workshops, book signings, and headline sessions celebrating the best of crime, mystery, and thriller writing.

The weekend will open with international bestselling author Clare Mackintosh, whose gripping novels have sold more than two million copies worldwide, setting the tone for a weekend full of suspense, insight, and unforgettable stories.

Festival Director James Caldwell said:

“We’re thrilled by the incredible response. To see so many crime fiction fans booking early for our first year is amazing we set an aim of 50 tickets sold by November to sellout by February so to be well over double that is outstanding. With such an exciting line-up we can’t wait to welcome everyone to Cheshire next February.”

Tickets include access to all festival sessions, refreshments, a buffet lunch, and an exclusive festival goodie bag. Attendees will receive full details of the parallel sessions in November to book their preferred panels.

One Day Tickets are £95 or £150 for the full weekend, with limited tickets left, they won’t last long!

The Cheshire Crime Writers Festival promises to be an unmissable celebration of stories, suspense, and the incredible talent that defines British crime writing.
